Some of y’all will fight me for this, but a lot of times, a hotel is just a hotel.

Sure the theming varies from beachy to Mexico, but I don’t personally feel it’s worth the price for what you get. Don’t give me a Motel 6 with a palm tree 🤣

Everyone has a “favorite” resort, and this is hands down, without a doubt one of mine. There’s not too many places I’ve ever stayed, that I forget where I’m actually at, because the resort is its own little oasis.

Well, that’s how I feel when we stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say.

It’s so quiet, serene & peaceful, the smell, the sounds, THE FOOD- I’m looking at you, Boma! Where else can you stay and just wake up to a giraffe smiling at you? Where else can you watch zebra eat lunch while you eat lunch? I sat on my balcony and watched an ostrich lay eggs for goodness sake! 🥚

This resort is a vacation all by itself, and I could easily stay here for a month straight, never leave, and never step foot into a park.

Well, my Dennison family is about to experience all this. Every single family I’ve ever sent here has fallen head over heels in love, and my daughter Charlotte has big plans to steal a baby zebra next time we go!

If you want to feel like you’re smack dab in the middle of an African savanna, quit dragging your hooves and experience one of the most incredible resorts that exist!

The Barlow family is booked for Disney this September!

They grabbed a Lion King family suite at Disney’s Art of Animation resort, and then Nana & Wynn-Pa decided to join as well! I grabbed them a Little Mermaid room. I’m here to tell you, you’re not ever too old to be a mermaid, and we better see y’all flippin your fins in the Flippin Fins pool just like the others! 🧜🏻‍♀️

Disney is for E V E R Y age. No such thing as too young or too old!

While this family is at different buildings of the resorts, I still set up what’s called a “Travel with #” so Disney knows they are together!

You also can’t get to the Little Mermaid rooms without walking by the Lion King section, so Grandma can pick them up and drop them off each day!

They’ll also be there during ALL the Halloween festivities and decor…….don’t even get me started on that. Y’all know I’m a festive girl.

So excited for this family, and even more excited to make sure this is dang near perfect for them! ✨

It’s February! ♥️💕 We’ve made it through the 10 darkest weeks of the year. January through March is pretty dang rough on my mental health. I need warmth, sunshine, and to get outside with my kids.

January was a very full and busy month for me!
Both my big kids are in basketball- I’m coaching my daughter’s basketball team, we went on the Disney Wish, and I’ve truthfully just been playing catch up. I ended up having a total of 21 families in Disney for the month of January, and I also ending up booking 29 brand new trips this month!

I hit 1.5 million dollars in sales, and was one of the top 3 agents in my category within the agency!

I’m eagerly waiting for Disney to drop their 2026 calendar as well!

After Hours is one of the coolest events that Disney offers.

My Novak family that’s there now, decided 7 days wasn’t enough, so while they are in the parks having fun, I was behind the scenes extending their stay!

Dang I’m all for some new and updates, but why Mama Melrose’s? 😭😭😭

Disney has announced the final dates of operation for MuppetVision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, ahead of transforming the area into a new Monsters, Inc.-themed land.

The various closures in the section of Grand Avenue largely themed to The Muppets will soon close to make way for the previously announcedMonsters, Inc. land. The new area will include a suspended coaster recreating the door vault scene from the Pixar film, as well as shopping, dining, and a new theater show.

Grand Avenue will begin closing these areas in phases to make way for the new land. The last day to dine at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will be May 10, 2025. MuppetVision 3D and PizzeRizzo will follow soon after with their last day of operation on June 7.

I’m truly so excited and looking forward to what’s to come, and it better make for them taking one of my favorite restaurants in Disney!

Happy 50th Birthday to Viviana, a hippo on Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom! 🦛

She celebrated her 50th birthday with a "cake" featuring watermelon and her other favorite foods 🍉

“Today, we're celebrating a truly remarkable milestone - Viviana, one of the opening day animals here at Disney's Animal Kingdom, is marking her 50th birthday. Born on January 22nd, Viviana has been a cherished member of our animal family, and she continues to thrive on Kilimanjaro Safaris. She enjoys spending her days relaxing in the water and socializing with her hippo friends, Tuma, Tequila and Ramona. a To celebrate her golden anniversary, our skilled Animal Nutrition team crafted a special "birthday cake" filled with some of Viviana's favorite foods, including refreshing watermelon and cantaloupe.

Viviana's long life is a testament to the care and attention she receives from the Animal Care team, and we're grateful to celebrate 50 years of health, happiness, and unforgettable moments with her.

My Haslage family check in to their first resort TOMORROW! She last minute decided to add a night onto their trip and check in a day sooner.

I was able to grab them a Royal Guest room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. I can tell you now, you’ve never seen a more magical headboard. My daughter Charlotte got to stay here this April for her 7th birthday, and she felt SO special!

I’ve been doing this over 3 years now and I’ve yet to have someone wish their trip would hurry up and be over. Only wish it would’ve lasted longer. If you decide to add on an extra night or two, consider a split stay! This family will be here for a single night, then hop over to Art of Animation for the remainder of their vacation.

Disney transfers all their luggage for them, for FREE! This is also the most affordable way to experience a moderate or deluxe resort! A night or two is much more doable than a week!

Last night at our agency meeting I was recognized for hitting 1.5 million dollars in sales and being one of the top three agents for my sales category for December 2024!

2025 is already off to such a great start and I’m so thankful for everyone here!

🍿🍿🍿It’s National Popcorn Day! 🍿🍿🍿

I don’t know about you, but Disney just isn’t Disney without some hot, fresh popped popcorn in the parks! ESPECIALLY Hollywood Studios.

We always bring one of our popcorn buckets with us, because at $2.25 for refills, it’s such a quick easy snack for our family to much on while in lines!

The delicious aroma always gets my eldest son he’ll say, “Mom, they know exactly what they’re doing to me because when the breeze blows, I smell it and now I’m hungry!” 😅

It’s story time!!!!

I’m keeping my precious family anonymous on this one because of privacy and just an honest mistake that can happen to ANYONE! Wouldn’t dream of embarrassing someone I care about.

This family has cruised with me several times now, and took advantage of the discounted future cruise promotion while being on their last Disney cruise. She paid the deposit for two rooms to secure the spots, then rolled right on.

Months later, she reaches out, had went ahead and booked everything on her own, then transferred the reservations over to me.

She messaged me yesterday looking to get things paid in full and start discussing excursions and activities we can book. She also JUST had a baby last week.

Upon further investigation, I see there was some sort of glitch/error and she didn’t grab connecting staterooms. They were several doors down from each other. This isn’t uncommon because the website just assigns you a room unless you click a specific number, especially if you’re using the mobile version.

With adding new baby, we had to get a larger room category and move BOTH rooms to a different deck of the ship, and then I realized that she actually had a total of FOUR rooms booked instead of two. She assumed that the discount would just be applied, and that’s unfortunately not how it works. You have to go in and modify the existing place holder.

Anyway, I had to move all money paid on the two non discounted rooms to the two discounted rooms, then cancel the non discounted rooms all together. Then go back in and select the two correct room numbers to make sure they are side by side.

The discount saved them exactly: $2,062.37 between both rooms.

She could have been the one on the phone with Disney Cruise Line this morning, with a one week old baby + two older kiddos, trying to get this thing sorted, but THANK GOODNESS, it was me.

This is a PERFECT example of why no matter how many times you’ve gone to Disney, you go through a FREE Disney vacation planner. The entire point of my job is to be the safety net and making sure these things either don’t happen, or are sorted out for you, before you ever arrive!
