I LOVE me a little last minute challenge! It keeps me on my toes and lets me know I’ve still got it 🤣

The Purevich family gave me right at one month of a notice to plan their perfect first family visit, Disney vacation! And we have!

They’ll be doing a FULL 8 day, 7 night stay with 5 days of park tickets & Memory Maker.

We grabbed them a Cars family suite over at Art of Animation, and I can guarantee their two kids will FLIP as soon as they step into Radiator Springs!

Ever booked a trip then priced your flight and it was substantially cheaper to arrive a day or two sooner or leave a day or two later?

It happens often, and it’s a PERFECT excuse to do a split stay!

My Breyer fam will be in Disney next month. They decided to kick their trip off with a night at Coronado Springs, before heading over to Art of Animation!

It’s the perfect way to upgrade and stay at a moderate or deluxe resort, without footing the bill of an entire week stay.

Best part is Disney transfers ALL your luggage from resort to resort while you’re busy having all the fun. Oh, and it’s free!

Don’t forget, partners - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom will close for an extended refurbishment - of at least a year - on January 6, 2025 🚂

The last day to ride “the wildest ride in the wilderness” before it closes…is scheduled to be January 5, 2025.

🚧 As of this time, the attraction is scheduled to reopen at some point in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic.”

Bluey is Coming to Disney Parks & Disney Cruise Line!!!

The Emmy-winning animated series “Bluey” will officially come to Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, & Disney Cruise Line in 2025.

🚢 Beginning in January 2025, Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand will have “Bluey” experiences. Guests can meet Bluey and her sister, Bingo, plus play an interactive clue-filled game that ends in a dance party.

🏰 “Bluey” producers are working with BBC Studios and Disney “on a number of special activations” for fans. Details about how guests can meet Bluey and her family at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be shared in the coming months.

Disney Cruise Line is now offering 50% off kids fare for Disney+ subscribers

Third and fourth guests under 18 can sail for half price with two full-fare guests in the same stateroom. Subscribers can book up to two staterooms with this offer. It’s available for select cruises on the Disney Wish, Disney Dream, and Disney Wonder from January 3, 2025, through June 13, 2025. Stateroom categories 04A-11C are eligible.

The Disney+ subscriber must be the primary guest on the reservation and must sail in one of the staterooms booked with the offer. Proof of a Disney+ subscription is required. Guests must book by February 16, 2025, to take advantage of the offer. The number of staterooms allocated for the offer is limited.

Once Upon A Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway 🎭🎶

At CommuniCore Hall, guests will be able to experience the magic of Broadway both on and off the stage in this walkthrough exhibit celebrating three decades of Disney on Broadway.

Discover costumes and props from your favorite stage musicals, then venture behind-the-scenes to see how the classic animated films “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” were reimagined for the Broadway stage.

Opening Bites Food Studio 🥙

New Artful Photo Op 🖼️

With the Artful Photo Ops, you can step into the canvas and strike a pose. Along with returning favorites like Luncheon of the Boating Party by Pierre-August Renoir and Edvard Munch’s The Scream, there is a new Artful Photo Op inviting you to voyage alongside our favorite seafarer featuring Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana.”

Disney on Broadway Concert Series 🎵

There’s a star-studded lineup for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. I am especially thrilled to see the three newcomers to the America Gardens Theatre stage.

You may know Jelani Remy from his role as Simba from “The Lion King.” Rodney Ingram performed the title role of “Aladdin” on Broadway and originated the role in the Mexico City production, and John Riddle originated the role of Hans in “Frozen.” Cue the applause! 👏🏼

🗓️ The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 17 through February 24.

At just a month out, the Herring family is booked for a week at All Star Movies!

In the world of Disney, this is considered pretty dang last minute, and it’s one of the countless reasons you should use a Disney Vacation Planner!

Someone that’s done this countless times and is able to make sure nothing is missed!

They are all set up and ready to go if they wanted to go tomorrow! I don’t care how many times you’ve visit Disney, things are forever changing, and it’s nice having someone “behind the scenes” making sure all goes smoothly from check in to check out!

If you are looking for a smaller, quiet, relaxing resort, look no further than Port Orleans French Quarter.

It’s my favorite moderate resort.

The food, the ambiance, the amenities, BRAND NEW refurbished rooms, a gorgeous boat ride over to Disney Springs. S**t Cat Cafe- home of the Mickey beignet. What’s not to love about this resort? Honest to goodness, I can’t think of a single negative.

The Miles family booked next December with their bounce back offer, and then extended family grabbed two additional rooms! It’s a Disney Family Affair now! ♥️

Another day, another Art of Animation family!

The Anderson family is headed to Disney in May for a fun filled week!

Y’all already know how I feel about this resort, so I’ll talk more specifically about this time of year!

Two Mays ago I was in Disney, while twenty weeks pregnant! The weather is just perfect. Sunny and warm without being unbearably hot! With the Flower & Garden Festival going on in EPCOT, it’s truly one of the nicest times to visit!

The crowds are also manageable. Far enough away from Easter, spring break, runDisney, & cheer/dance competitions!

Also the perfect time to enjoy that free day at the waterpark! 💦

A brand new “Mufasa” Tree of Life Awakenings Show is now being shown at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! 🌳

For a limited time, on select nights guests can see the Tree of Life Awakenings projections at the park’s icon. There’s a new Mufasa Tree of Life Awakenings show in celebration of “Mufasa: The Lion King” which releases in theaters on December 20, 2024.

The Tree of Life Awakenings begin at dusk, roughly around 6:00 p.m. each evening. They run about every ten minutes, though the Mufasa one is interspersed with the returning winter-themed shows.
