Let's talk about the Animation Experience at Animal Kingdom! ✏️
The Animation Experience is located at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Disney's Animal Kingdom inside the Conservation Station building. You will need to take the train in Africa to get here.
This experience is an animation class in which you will spend 25 minutes drawing your favorite Disney animals! The drawings in these lessons regularly change, so this is something you can continue to come back to enjoy on each trip. Best part is it's completely FREE!
Space is limited so if this is important to you be sure to check the class times in your My Disney Experience app and show up early to ensure a seat.
The BEST things in Epcot - according to my 4 year-old! ☀
1. "That star ride in the big golf ball". This is referring to Spaceship Earth which is the ride inside of the iconic Epcot symbol shown in the photo! This is a slow moving ride that explores the history of human communication. My husband and I were a bit hesitant taking her on this ride because it's long and pretty dark at times, but it was one of the highlights of her trip!
2. "When I got to meet Anna and Elsa". You can meet your favorite Frozen sisters in the Norway Pavilion! Just be aware that there is not a Genie+ option for this popular character meet & greet.
3. "I liked when I got to see the turtle on the Nemo ride". While my daughter is afraid of the sharks on the Nemo Ride (located at the entrance to the aquarium), she LOVES Crush and Sq**rt. That part of the ride had her giggling in delight! She even got to see a real sea turtle in the aquarium after getting off the ride.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill is one of my absolute favorite places at Walt Disney World!
This quick service lounge at Wilderness Lodge serves up rustic Pacific Northwest food and is right on Bay Lake.
My favorite meal here is the bison burger, but my husband discovered a steak sandwich this time around that has turned into his new favorite.

One of my favorite Character meet & greets from our last trip was definitely the Evil Queen! We met her after finishing out dinner at Storybook Dining at Artist Point, located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. 🍎
After signing my daughter's autograph book, I went to approach the Queen to get it back from her. She motioned for me to get back to where I was standing. I was caught very off guard! Immediately following she motioned for my husband to come up to get the book. As she handed it to him she said "Make yourself useful"! Needless to say, it turned into a running joke amongst our family for the next few days.
This is a difficult reservation to obtain, so be sure to prioritize this when making your dining reservations!
Trying to save some room in your suitcase? Good news - Walt Disney World Resort hotels have complimentary life vests in various sizes at all of their pools on property! These are provided on a first-come first-served basis so be sure to make it to the pool early on those scheduled pool days! ☀

On my last trip to Walt Disney World I stayed with my husband, daughter, and in-laws in a 2-bedroom villa at Disney's Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge!
This was the perfect size room for our group! We had a full service kitchen, a living area, 2 bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with 2 queens), 2 full bathrooms, and a washer & dryer!
We definitely got groceries, we were able to wash our clothes during our stay and before heading home, and we had plenty of room to spread out! Interested in one of these villas? They book up quick!

This year I was fortunate enough to experience Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival TWO TIMES!
I've had many asking me what my favorite dish was from the entire festival, so here it is!
My absolute favorite was the SPAM Musubi Nigiri from the Hawaii booth! This consists of Sushi Rice, Teriyaki-Glazed SPAM, Spicy Mayonnaise, Eel Sauce, and Nori for only $6.
This is something that this pregnant mama is going to crave over and over again - time to learn how to make my own sushi!

These lines get LONG! My little one was insistent on meeting Rapunzel, but the line was over an hour long when I checked! Thankfully there was a return time available on Genie+ for right after her princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

We waited almost 45 minutes to meet Anna and Elsa on our last trip to Epcot. Was it long? YES. Did we get in line at the worst time? YES. Was it worth it? 100% YES.

When I asked my 4 year-old what the best things are in Animal Kingdom here was her response -
1. "The really cool playground". This playground she is referring to is called The Boneyard and it's located in Dino Land. It truly is one of the most incredible playgrounds I've ever seen! 🦴
2. "The bird show". This show is called Feathered Friends in Flight, and it's truly spectacular (and very underrated)! A duo of amazing experts/trainers will introduce you to several different kinds of birds, while you ooh and aah over their beauty and many talents! 🦅
3. "The Safari". Also known as Kilimanjaro Safaris, this ride will take you out on Harambe Wildlife Reserve where you will see and learn about many animals including some fan favorites! 🦒
