I think collectively after the holidays we all deserve a vacation. My bank account says otherwise 😂 but I’ve figured out quite a few loopholes. Here are all the ways I save money on our vacations!

1) Cheapest dates! In every single month there are cheapest dates to go. We remain flexible and choose those dates!

2) Discount monitor. Every trip we book, I watch to make sure the new discounts that come out are applied to my trip!

3) Discounted Disney Gift Cards! Every single paycheck I grab a tiny gift card. Even if it’s only 20 bucks a pay. It adds up!

4) Reciept Scanning! I prefer Fetch! I use my points towards airlines gift cards. Or Walmart or target for our grocery orders!

5) Kids Consignment sales! Our kids are always growing! Tons of towns have really great consignment sales. I take what I earn and put it back into Disney gift cards.

6) Save our magic bands! You only need to buy those suckers once and they continue to work. I have both the Plus and Original. (I prefer my original, so id save my money and get the cheaper one)

7) One character meal per trip, breakfast is always cheapest!

8 ) Book early, the longer you have to pay, the less it costs. Girl math.

9) Don’t be afraid of value resorts and good neighbor hotels. How much time are you spending in the room?

10) Plan LONGER trips less frequently. Anything after 4-5 park days the cost of tickets per day goes down A LOT. Sometimes it’s wiser to do this. If you can only plan frequent short trips. Look into if you’ll break even with an annual pass!

The setting sun is shining just right against It’s a Small World and the Disneyland Railroad made it’s way through.
