Meet our CEO & Founder, Waldy Torres, a seasoned Hotelier and Entrepreneur with with over 10 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, most recently overseeing Workplace Hospitality at Google within the Tech field. Prior to that, Waldy led Guest Services Operations at the prestigious Ultra-Luxury Rosewood Hotel Group. For over 6 years, he led Front Office & Housekeeping Operations at The Walt Disney World Resort, where he was a driving force behind a diverse portfolio of large-scale Hotels and Resorts, ranging from Luxury Hotels to Campground Resorts, Family Resorts, and Convention Hotels.

Notably, it was during his tenure at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground Resort that Waldy gained invaluable insights into the diverse needs his guests would have across different accommodations, particularly those utilizing Recreational Vehicles for travel or as their permanent residences. Today, his visionary outlook proves instrumental as we introduce an alternate lodging category poised to revolutionize the Hospitality Industry.

Today we honor the life, memory and legacy of our late Chief Strategy Officer & Co-founder Wilfred Torres. Loving Husband & Father, Role model Son & Eldest Brother, Serial Entrepreneur & 5X Startup founder with 20+ years of experience in diverse and fast paced companies, who was always driven by new challenges. Wilfred always believed that people with passion and determination would be able to change the world and make of it a better place. He spent every day of his life imagining the future and working relentlessly to bring his vision to life. This drive always guided him through the launch of many successful ventures across different industries and the word Impossible was just not in his dictionary. Even though 6 months have passed today that Wilfred is no longer here with us, his vision and spirit of resilience will always live with us at the heart of RollAway and we will forever miss him.
