Starting February 1, 2022, Philippine Airlines welcomes fully vaccinated passengers with no mandatory facility-based quarantine needed upon arrival. This is in relation with IATF Resolution No. 159.

Passengers are however, still required to show proof of fully vaccinated documents and follow protocols upon entry.

New Update as of January 15 - Regarding Qualified Exemptions and Children on PAL flights.

Effective January 17, 2022, the Department of Transportation under Urgent Department Order No. 2022-0001 will implement “No Vaccination, No Ride" Policy for DOMESTIC TRAVELERS.

This will apply to all domestic travel to and from NCR.

Please read the guidelines for Fully Vaccinated, Qualified Exemptions, and Partially Vaccinated / Unvaccinated.

Note the following changes as of January 15:

1. Qualified Exemptions - those exempted are no longer required to have RT-PCR 48 hours before flight, unless required by destination LGU.

2. Children 11 years old and below can be accepted on PAL flights without the need for a medical certificate, but should still present proof of essential travel, and must follow the LGU requirements for their destination. Please present proof of the child's age.

Flight Cancellations and Flexible Options Due to Closure of Airport
As of 6:30PM, December 18, 2021

While the Mactan Cebu International Airport is in the process of restoring regular services after sustaining damage in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette, Cebu Pacific has canceled the following flights:

December 19, 2021
5J 005 Dubai - Cebu

December 20, 2021
5J 005 Dubai-Cebu

December 21, 2021
5J 582 Cebu - Manila

Operations at Puerto Princesa International Airport remain suspended to give authorities enough time to assess damage and to make the necessary repairs to ensure safety of operations. As such, Cebu Pacific has canceled the following flights for December 19, 2021:

5J 635 / 5J 636 Manila – Puerto Princesa – Manila

5J 637 / 5J 638 Manila – Puerto Princesa – Manila

5J 647 / 5J 648 Manila – Puerto Princesa - Manila

Cebu Pacific has also canceled Flight 5J 014 Manila–Dubai on December 20 due to operational limitations.

Affected passengers have been informed via contact details provided in the booking.

Note that passengers (regardless of vaccination status) with no negative RT-PCR test-before-travel will be allowed to board their flights to the Philippines until December 5, 2021 11:59PM, but they will undergo facility-based quarantine upon arrival and 7th day swabbing.

Effective 12:01am of December 6, 2021, those who will fail to present a negative RT-PCR test-before-travel requirement will not be accepted on flights to the Philippines.
