曙光初現，潮水輕撫著沙岸，一群人魚貫而出。
赤腳踏進晨曦灑落的淺灘，伴著此起彼落的號子聲，我們齊心拉起漁網，如同無數個世代前的漁民們，在相同的潮汐裡寫下生活的印記。

在依海為生的年代， #牽罟 與冬夜捕撈鰻魚苗是頭城居民的重要生計。老人家常說，每到寒冬，夜晚的海岸燈火點點，漁民們各自握著工具，在浪濤中尋覓幼苗的蹤跡。捕獲的鰻苗被帶到臨時搭建的鰻寮裡，靜待商販們的造訪。

As dawn breaks, waves gently caress the shore, a group of people emerges in single file. Barefoot, stepping into the shallow waters touched by early morning light, accompanied by the rhythmic calls of working songs, we pull the fishing nets together, just like countless generations of fishermen before us, writing the stories of their lives in the same tides.

In an era that depended on the sea, beach seine fishing and winter eel fry catching were vital livelihoods for Toucheng residents. The elders often recall how during cold winters, the coastline would be dotted with lights at night, as fishermen, each holding their tools, searched for young eels among the waves. The caught eel fry would be taken to temporary eel huts, waiting for merchants to visit.
