Day two in Portland has been nice. I def recommend going during warm season to get the full feel of the city.
🏝There are several miles of coastal/beach area. Maine has over 3000 islands off its coast. There's a ferry terminal to some public islands. Many islands you can see from shore. Only 200 of them are uninhabitable.
🎨 There is a children's and regular art museum.
🦞 Plenty restaurants famous for fresh Lobster. You can even do an excursion to catch and cook your own Lobster.
🍩 DONUTS... they have a few famous donut shops. We chose the Eighty8 shop. They make fried cake donuts, fresh to order. So yummy 😋.
🔦 There are several Lighthouses around the city and plenty of open parking in the parks. Very convenient.
🥓 for breakfast included had French toast at The front room... so yummy 😋

Today we explored downtown Portsmouth, NH. 🚎 There is a trolley service thru the city.
🦞 There are so many restaurants with "the best" Lobster Rolls. We tried The beach Plum. The portions are HUGE for the price.
💙 Down by the Harbor, the is a Love Wall where you can leave you lock of love. We witnessed the cutest proposal 😍.
🫶🏽 African Burying Ground is a memorial for the former gravesite of over 200 enslaved African Americans.
🚶🏾‍♀️ The town and Harbor area is very walkable buuuuut i would recommend it in the summer/fall seasons cuz its 🥶.
⛱️ There is 18miles of coastline and plenty beach areas. A lot of the Lobster shacks close for the winter season.
