"As a family of general contractors/real estate entrepreneurs, we were incredibly surprised at the quality and craftsmanship of the remodel. The pool was perfect, the abundance of towels was perfect, the child safety locks were greatly appreciated because we have 3 kids under 5. The concierge service they offer was a LIFE SAVER due to a terrible start to our trip where Sky Harbor was a 3+ hour long wait for car rental checkout. The house is close to kids activities and anything you’d want to eat was a quick DoorDash away. The house temperature was easy to control, the beds were extremely comfy and it felt luxurious."⁠

The history of the poppy as a symbol of war casualties started with this poem. In the spring of 1915, a Canadian artillery unit brigade surgeon named Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae saw bright red poppies blooming on the war-torn fields where so many soldiers had lost their lives, and he was moved to write “In Flanders Fields.”⁠

We cannot believe how beautiful this house is! It completely exceeded our expectations! We really feel like we found a GEM! Colin was so helpful and answered so quickly whenever we had questions. The aesthetic of this house was right up our alley and was so tastefully done. So many little special details in every corner! The pictures don’t even do it justice. The kitchen had everything we needed! The bathrooms were so inviting with face towels and shower towels for each guest. We never wanted to leave. This backyard was to die for!!! We spent most of our time in AZ at the house even though none of us have ever been before. We cannot say thank you enough. Such an perfect Airbnb experience.⁠

"I can’t say enough about our experience at Pecos! The accommodation where top of the line. Not one detail overlooked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve dinner. The furniture was tasteful and comfortable. We slept in the king bed because we’re use to the size. So comfy. But the best part was coming back to the house after shopping in Scottsdale and floating in our own private pool. I’ll never stay in another hotel in Scottsdale!!"

Kathleen and her family recently stayed at First Street and had this to say: "We couldn't be more pleased with our thrip to Colin's place in Scottsdale. It's a beautiful home and our family of four certainly enjoyed it. As a host, Colin is superb! He responded quickly to our questions (we can be needy) and he was always on point and polite. In fact he encouraged us to as more questions...lol. He accommodated our schedule which we really appreciated. There were loads of great quality towels which is helpful with a pool. The outside and inside furniture is terrific as are the comfy beds (everyone in the family commented every morning about the beds).We loved having the firepit, a great kitchen, wonderful washer and dryer and large tvs with comfy viewing spaces. The bathrooms were sparkling clean (like the rest of the home) and laid out well! The location and neighborhood are ideal. We walked to Old Town via the path many times and we enjoyed a neighborhood coffee shop/general store (Chadwicks) just a few blocks walk from the home. You will definitely love this home!"
