We are Halfway to Halloween which means it’s time to start thinking about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!! 🎃

This after hours event takes place on select nights August through October and it is a must do for any Halloween fan!

With a party ticket, you can enter the park at 4 pm to enjoy some time in Magic Kingdom before the festivities start at 7 pm.

MNSSHP features an exclusive parade, fireworks and stage show that you cannot see outside of the party. There is also rare character meets, trick-or-treating inside the park, party only ride overlays and special party only treats, merchandise and magic shots!

Tickets are available starting on May 8th for guests that already have a resort reservation and May 15th for all guests.

Yesterday I had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. After almost 17 years, it was time to say goodbye to Rollins.

He was the best dog, and my first dog which I’m sure made this decision even harder. He had been with me for just over 15 1/2 years and I can’t even remember a time that he wasn’t part of my life. Everyone who met him always said what a great dog he was, there wasn’t a single person who didn’t love him.

He was my first baby and my old man. Once he turned 14 and I saw no signs of him slowing down, I always said he was going to live forever. But unfortunately, he did start to slow down this last year and within the last 2 weeks he really started to go downhill. My heart is broken. As much as he annoyed me, I loved him more than anything and already miss him so much.

I finally did it!

After riding Cosmic Rewind the first day it opened, I made it a goal to get all six songs. It took me nearly a year and a half and riding 12 times to do it!

If you’re not familiar with this ride, there are six possible songs you can get, and you won’t know which one you’ll get until partway into the ride.

The songs are:

🎵 One Way or Another
🎵 Everybody Wants to Rule the World

Did you see the announcement earlier this week about restaurant reservations?

Disney shared that we will soon be able to view availability for up to ten days at a time, eliminating the need for daily checks and cancellation hopes.

This is going to make getting those hard to get dining reservation so much easier!

January and February were incredible months for my business! 🤩

Walt Disney World just announced that vacation packages from January - October 2025 are open for booking as of TOMORROW!!!

And if that wasn’t exciting enough, they also announced that guests checking into a Walt Disney World Resort in 2025 will receive free water park admission on check in day!!

Do you know about the hidden spot in EPCOT where rare characters can be found? 🤩

We recently experienced some Disney Magic when we unexpectedly met Gepetto, making our visit even more special! Max, Tigger and Rafiki were out as well, but were leaving as we arrived.

This secret spot is in the American Pavilion on the big path right next to Regal Eagle.

Let’s talk about Disneyland. Have you ever been?

While there are a lot of similarities between Disneyland and Disney World, there are also a lot differences that make Disneyland stand out.

Here are my TOP reasons to visit Disneyland:

✨ It’s the original park, designed under the direct supervision of Walt himself!

✨ Characters are everywhere! Unlike Disney World, characters wander around the parks snapping selfies and meeting guests. You never know who you’re going to run into!

✨ Better rides. Hear me out. When comparing the rides that are in both parks, Disneyland just does them better! Their Space Mountain is so smooth, their Big Thunder Mountain is faster and overall better, their Pirates of the Caribbean is longer, their Small World is massive and has Disney characters sprinkled throughout and three words: Haunted. Mansion. Holiday.

✨ The weather. It doesn’t rain very often in Southern California and there is far less humidity making the weather much nicer than Florida.

✨ More hotel options. With Disneyland being in the middle of Anaheim, there are tons of hotels right outside the parks that are less expensive than the Disneyland resorts and many are in walking distance.

✨ Avenger’s Campus! Cars Land! Pixar Pier! And San Fransokyo Square!

✨ The entrances to Disneyland and California Adventure are 300 feet apart, less than a 1 minute walk which makes park hopping super convenient.

This is your reminder that sometimes it’s ok to just take a few hours to snuggle. The work will still be there after.

As someone who is a workaholic, I tend to push myself even when I’m feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes to the point of tears. As an entrepreneur who works from home and does not have a clear clock in/clock out time, I often struggle with when it’s time to be “finished”. There is always work to be done. Emails and texts to answer, new leads to reach out to, emails to create, back end operational things to work on. Don’t forget to post on Instagram and Facebook, make reels, interact with other accounts, find ways to gain new followers. It can be a lot.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, I really really do! I’ve been in this space for almost a year now and I’m still trying to figure out how to find balance. Balance between working, cleaning, cooking, and resting. For me, it’s the rest that always gets left behind. I always put myself last. But I’m working on it. And determined to get it all figured out!

May 2024 be the year we all find that “balance” in our lives, whatever that may mean.

Heading to Disney this weekend for a quick holiday girls weekend trip with and !

We’ll be going to all 4 parks to see the decorations, try the holiday snacks and ride the rides. I’m especially excited for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, seeing the Candlelight Processional and EPCOT’s brand new fireworks show Luminous as well as attending the brand new Jollywood Nights party!
