Our portfolio of memorable holiday properties in beautiful locations in the UK and Europe has been carefully built up over 40 years, with over 1,500 villas, apartments & cottages in 32 locations across 13 countries. HPB Duloe Manor is situated to the south of the village of Duloe, a little over three miles inland from the fishing village of Looe. Built in the late 1690's, the imposing Queen Anne h

ouse, originally the rectory, has a number of interesting historical associations - not least, with Alice, from Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland'. HPB Duloe Manor includes 40 properties, ranging from one small studio to a large four-bed apartment, with a variety of cottages and apartments in between.

Last year’s 'Dog of the Year' competition within our in-house magazine attracted scores of entrants, only some of which we were able to feature within those pages – but all of which have captured our attention, and our hearts, including;

Tio, pictured here on Portwinkle beach in Cornwall, close to HPB Duloe Manor, is “a very lively one-year-old cavapoo,” says owner Jane B, “who absolutely loves playing with his ball on the beach.” Tio and his owners were looking forward to a trip to HPB Braithwaite later in the year: “No beaches,” says Jane, “but plenty of great walking which he also loves.” 🐾

What better way to celebrate than share some of these wonderful shots of the Alresfords Abroad during their stay here at HPB Duloe Manor?!

"We visited Mount Edgcumbe. The formal gardens were looking very beautiful and there were some lovely works of art on show too.

Pippin went to Cotehele - there were lots of steps up to the house so he was pleased to find a comfortable stone bench to rest on after the climb.

We also visited Lanhydrock. The house was busy but the gardens still had plenty of colour in them and the little door into the well interested Arthur greatly."

Open Gardens at Duloe Manor 🌺 We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an open gardens with Cornwall Wildlife Trust on Sunday 25th June 2023 here at HPB Duloe Manor. 🌿 Our historic Cornish manor house sits within 14 acres of beautiful grounds, including nine acres of mixed formal and semi-floral areas for our guests to enjoy - plus around five acres of wild flower meadow to encourage the local wildlife to flourish. 🐝 Not forgetting our gorgeous Heritage Garden with seating areas for our guests to relax in. ☀ Head gardener, Richard Doney and his dedicated team ensure the gardens always look their best... so much so, that they have influenced some of our interior furnishings! 🌷 We think we might give the RHS - Royal Horticultural Society #ChelseaFlowerShow a run for their money this year... 🌼 Come along to the #OpenGardens event and take a look around or click here to find out more about HPB Duloe Manor: https://okt.to/2x8Urj #HPBmoments

Whether Lewis Carroll wrote all, or even part, of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while staying at the former rectory is rather more open to question (though we'd like to think he did!).
