Polperro ranks highly among Cornwall's 'must see' villages; an atmospheric jumble of predominantly old buildings improbably crammed into the narrow space at the back of a tiny cove and harbour between high headlands. 🛥
Apart from a beach, #Polperro has everything for visitors, including a small museum. With the usual ups and downs of the coast path, the walk is quite demanding but there are no difficulties underfoot and the lovely coastal scenery makes the effort very worthwhile... https://okt.to/zmfo3c #Cornwall #HPBmoments
It's no surprise that #Cornwall is one of the UK's most favoured destinations for summer holidays, with its gorgeous sandy beaches and bright turquoise waters. ☀

Open Gardens at Duloe Manor 🌺
We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an open gardens with Cornwall Wildlife Trust on Sunday 25th June 2023 here at HPB Duloe Manor. 🌿
Our historic Cornish manor house sits within 14 acres of beautiful grounds, including nine acres of mixed formal and semi-floral areas for our guests to enjoy - plus around five acres of wild flower meadow to encourage the local wildlife to flourish. 🐝
Not forgetting our gorgeous Heritage Garden with seating areas for our guests to relax in. ☀
Head gardener, Richard Doney and his dedicated team ensure the gardens always look their best... so much so, that they have influenced some of our interior furnishings! 🌷
We think we might give the RHS - Royal Horticultural Society #ChelseaFlowerShow a run for their money this year... 🌼 Come along to the #OpenGardens event and take a look around or click here to find out more about HPB Duloe Manor: https://okt.to/2x8Urj #HPBmoments

Duloe Manor in full bloom
Duloe Manor was due to open up it's beautiful gardens in a couple of weeks for the Open Garden event organised by Cornwall Wildlife Trust. It's such a shame that the event was cancelled but we thought we would show you around so you can see how beautiful the gardens are looking in full bloom.

Duloe Manor's stunning #Cornish garden.
With the recent spell of mild weather it seems a lot of the #nature in our British gardens and green areas has become a little confused and started sprouting early... But this, apparently, is always the case at Duloe Manor and the gardens here are currently coming alive! #Cornwall #BondGoesWild http://bit.ly/2inbLB6
#BondGoesWild At Duloe Manor
At Duloe we have embarked on a new project called #BondGoesWild; the aim is to get youngsters out and about exploring these beautiful Cornish grounds. With well-planted gardens and sweeping lawns there will be lots of wildlife to discover: http://bit.ly/2b8qWwe

That the Rev Charles Dodgson was a sometime guest at Duloe Manor is not in doubt. Whether Lewis Carroll wrote all, or even part, of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while staying at the former rectory is rather more open to question (though we'd like to think he did!). But holidaymakers ensconced in any of Duloe's 40 cottages and apartments will find themselves in a wonderland of their own. Children, especially; http://bit.ly/2GptWSx #hpbmoments
