Pros & Cons of Booking a Trip on Your Own ⬇️

You can totally plan your own trips yourself, so the question really should be, is it worth the hassle?

The Pros:

✅ Full control: Every detail is yours to decide — flights, hotels, activities — it’s all up to you.

✅ The thrill of the hunt: Love chasing deals? This is your moment to shine.

✅ The planning high: Nothing is more exciting than envisioning the trip that’s waiting for you on the other end!
The Cons:

❌ Option overload: Hundreds of tabs open, thousands of reviews and no real clarity on what destination to book, where to stay, what to do, etc.

Life Update 🤩

I’ve been a bit quiet this week, but for a wonderful reason! We rescued this adorable little girl who was abandoned near our home. Just as we were settling in, an ice storm swept through North Carolina, causing us to lose power.

Now that things are back to normal, we're ready to dive back into our usual shenanigans and share more updates from here on out!

☔ If you’re leaving or avoiding the parks because of rain, we must talk! There’s a BIG positive to a rainy day at Disney... the local crowd stays home, making wait times and lines shorter. 🍦🥨 Listen, the ice cream and pretzels still taste the same, just arrive prepared. Bring the poncho and umbrella, and have the most magical day!

We took a drive down south yesterday! (but not to Florida!) We are at Hilton Head for a few nights!

Did you know Disney has a Hilton Head Island Resort located in South Carolina!

You can take a dip in the heated pool or stroll around the marina, where you’ll find amazing restaurants and great shopping. They even have some of my favorite Disney World snacks!

Here’s to a few days of family fun with no agenda!

Disney just dropped some exciting news—the Garden Rocks Concert Series is coming back to the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! For 30 years, this fan-favorite event has been bringing awesome live music to the parks, and this year’s lineup is mixing up some nostalgic favorites with fresh new talent. Get ready for great tunes and gorgeous garden views!

When visiting the parks, are you a rope drop person, or would you instead shut down the parks? 🤔

When CJ and I visit the parks, and it's just us, I like to book our dinner reservations so that we get done when the park closes. We love how empty it is when we walk out.

This is also the best time to take photos!
