Package Overview

Mikumi National Park Tanzania’s fourth-biggest national park which covers 3260 sq kms. It’s additionally the most open from Dar es Salaam about 300kms. With confirmed wildlife sightings, it makes a perfect safari goal for those who are busy and have less time to travel, two days or more can get you an opportunity to explore the splendor of Mikumi national park..

Itinerary:

Day 1: Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park

Meet with your professional driver guide(short briefing) at 06:30am, and drive to Mikumi National Park about 290kms which takes approx. 7 hours. A hot lunch is already prepared, rest a little bit and start the game drive watching Hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, elands, Impalas, zebras, Wildebeests, lions and other wildlife till sunset, dinner and overnight at Mikumi Park Cottage.(inside the park)

Meals: (Lunch and Dinner).

Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Dar es salaam

After your coffer at 06:00am going for sunrise game viewing till 9:00am back for full breakfast and take you staff and continua with game drive until 11:00am, Also visiting the Hippo pools where you get out of the vehicle and take the pictures at a close distance, hot lunch on the way at Morogoro town back to Dar es salaam.
