Day 2 of
If you don’t want to rope drop 𝒂𝒏𝒅 close the park, don’t go to Disney with me 🤪
I was pumped to be so close in line for rope drop for MK. I’m going right to 7DMT so I don’t have to spend the extra money on ILL or waste time waiting in standby. We were SO close to the front. Then the heavens decided it wasn’t happening and gave us a full blown thunderstorm as we waiting for that final rope to drop. 7DMT was on a delay. So what did we rope drop you ask?! It’s A Small World 🤣
We spent the morning in on and off storms and showers throughout MK. I’ll be honest, it ruined the whole morning we had planned. We changed up our LL’s to adjust to the weather and we unfortunately ended up losing our VQ to Tron because we had hopper passes and plans for the afternoon.
As we left MK and headed to HS, the heavens decided we deserved a better afternoon & gave us the sun!
We were thankful we didn’t have to mess around with out LL and ILL to avoid weather.
We grabbed a quick lunch at Docking Bay 7. We all ordered off the kids menu 🤷🏽♀️ perfect size portions! In the pictures I gave a kids chicken with rice and broccoli and a hummus platter.
After that, we tackled all of Galaxy’s Edge and even had a run in with Kylo Ren!
We then tackled more of the park, snacking and drinking as we went along riding all the rides and stopping for the characters we absolutely 𝒉𝒂𝒅 to meet. Meeting characters without kids is even more fun in my opinion! They give you their attention 🤣
Our most brilliant thing we did not only this day, but out of the whole trip, was book a reservation for Oga’s Cantina after park closing.
We had a 9:40pm reservation and it was amazing. First, the staff inside was incredible. I know it’s their job, but they really didn’t care how long we stayed - we were the last ones out of the cantina. We took our time walking out of the park, taking in the beauty and taking as many empty park pictures as we could. The CM’s and security just followed behind not rushing us and offering to take pictures for us too. We were the last ones out of the park and that was a really cool experience!
We stayed at Pop, so we were on the skyliner, but by this time it was down and we had a whole bus back to the resort to ourselves! If you get the chance, take that late night reservation!
Always take the girls trip.
