Our Story
Pakefield Caravan Park enjoys a stunning, peaceful setting on the Sunrise Coast of Suffolk. With fabulous sea views and direct access to a sand and shingle beach, Pakefield is the ideal base from which to explore the coastal resorts and villages of Suffolk and Norfolk. Within a short drive through open countryside, passing windmills and waterways, are the picturesque and tranquil Norfolk Broads. This series of connected lakes and rivers, forms one of Britain's most beautiful wetland areas, home to a vast array of wildlife, with pubs and villages along the way from which to enjoy all that the Broads offer.
A short drive in Suffolk leads guests to Southwold, an historic, seaside town, famous for its' colourful beach huts and popular brewery. Closer to the park, there are the resorts of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, traditional seaside resorts, with a circus, fairground, aquarium and some lovely beaches. The beaches of Dunwich and Aldeburgh are naturally scenic, whilst inland Lavenham and Clare are wonderfully preserved Medieval Wool towns and well worth visiting.
Pakefield Caravan Park has an excellent standard of contemporary holiday accommodation. The Platinum holiday homes, with their stunning, uninterrupted sea views are available to hire, and there other holiday homes in attractive locations around the park available to buy or hire. Serviced touring pitches with 16 amp electric ho ok ups, water points and a new Toilet and Shower block are amongst a wealth of excellent facilities available for Touring Caravan and Motorhome owners to enjoy.
With free WI-FI, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a Club with seasonal family entertainment, a launderette, a children's playground and a shop, Pakefield has all the facilities which provide the essential elements of a good holiday. Pets are welcome all season at Pakefield and there are some wonderful coastal and countryside walks to enjoy direct from the park.
The Pakefield season runs from 1st March to early November.
