One of the only true water phenomena which can be found in Britain, the is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn. 🌊

The Severn Bore is one of the biggest in the world and a real draw for visitors. If you visit the river when a bore is due, you’re bound to see large crowds on the bank... and even a few people clutching surfboards or canoes in the water. The wave can reach heights of 10ft and move at speeds of 13mph, making it a favourite of extreme sports enthusiasts. 🏄‍♂️

Introducing the refurbishment of the clubroom at our much-loved Cotswolds home. 💗

What were two smaller rooms have been knocked into one; new furniture has been installed, and the hope is that the space will be more interactive and better for “group” events: welcome meetings and so on here at HPB Buckland Court.

Conker Interiors’ designer Rosie Johnson has taken her inspiration from nearby Snowshill Manor and Garden NT, whose post-WWI owner Charles Paget Wade filled the house with eclectic good taste.

If you happen to visit HPB Buckland Court between June and August, then Snowshill Lavender Farm is a must-see. 💜 #Lavender farming only began in the #Cotswolds in 1999, but the plant flourishes in the free-draining limestone soils. #Snowshill farm plants more and more every year, mainly for use in English Lavender Essential Oils.
