We often get asked: “Do you think it’s safe for me to travel solo to Tamraght?” ✈️
The answer has to be a big YES!
Everyone knows each other. People leave their bags on the beach and go surf. 🏄🏻
Kids go exploring or swimming and the whole neigbourhood keeps an eye on them. We hitchhike, give our carkeys to strangers by the beach and walk home late at night. ✨
Its the easiest place to get help and the farewell message we get the most is: everyone is SO nice here! We will definitely come back ❤️

Villa X still stands 🏠 The village is unharmed ✨ Our friends, guests and neighbours are ok ❤️ We are so incredibly lucky that Tamraght and this whole coastal area around Agadir has come out of this experience with almost no damage. 🙏🏼 Almost everything is buildt after 1960 and is well constructed. It was so scary for everyone. And our hearts go out to those in the mountains and around Marrakech who lost loved ones and their homes - all irreplaceable 💔

The sun rises again every day and so do we. And so will Morocco 🇲🇦 Don’t stay away. Morocco relies on tourism. Come with respect and compassion. Come meet these wonderful hospitable people and put money directly in the local’s pockets. They make it last and grow. We are so impressed and proud of our local community showing up for those in need. You never feel like you are doing enough, but every little thing helps! ❤️
