Trekking in Jebel saghro anti Atlas Mountains, trek date 3rd March to 7 of March 2024,

Itinirary and trek details,

Day 1: Drive from Marrakech or Marrakech Airport to Tagdilt village anti Atlas volcanic Massif,

After breakfast in the Riad in Marrakech, we drive over the Tichka Pass 2260m crossing High Atlas Mountains. We will pass through lots of Berber villages. We will pass through the small cities of Ouarzazate, Skoura; Klaa El Mgouna where we will stop for lunch. We continue to Tagdilt village where we will stop to spend the night in the Berber guesthouse and where we will meet our team or multeers.

Duration: 7 hours drive
Included meals: Breakfast- Lunch – Dinner
Accommodation: Guest house

Day 2: Hike from Tagdilt to Almou Nourg,

After breakfast, we will start our Hike on the plateau of Tagand then we will start to climb up to Azarzim Pass and have our lunch just before we reach the pass. Then we will go over the pass where we will stop to enjoy the amazing view. We continue until we reach our camp at Almou N’Ouarg.

Duration:6 hours HIKE

Day 3: Hiking from Almou Nourg to Igli,

Today we will hike to the summit of Kouaouch 2712 which is the highest peak in Jbel Saghro. We will make a break at the top to bask in our accomplishment with a snack and take a few pictures of the breathtaking scenery. We go down to Tassigdelt where our cook will be ready to serve us lunch. Continue our hike to to the village of Igli where we will spend the night camping near the little valley with almond orchards.
During the night we are all family, here you can share the best moments with your guide and with your muleteers. We share stories and traditional music around the camping fire.

Accommodation: Camp

Day 4: Trekking from Igli to Bab N’Ali, then transfer Ouarzazate,

After breakfast in the little valley of Igli, we will walk following the Afourer River. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with local Berber people who exercise small and traditional agriculture. We will continue down the valley to a scenic place with rock pinnacles called Bab N’Ali where we will have lunch. Then continue drive to Ouarzazate city overnight in Hotel,

Duration:4 hours HIKE + 3h drive
Included meals: Breakfast- Lunch – Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Marrakech back to Marrakech,

On this last day you will drive back to Marrakech via tichka pass, before Marrakech you will stop for lunch in the halfway, then continue to reach Marrakech Airport, end of your trek with us,

Morocco 🇲🇦 Desert Trek From 28th December 2023 to 4th of January 2024

Itinerary and trek details,

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech Airport transfer to the city of Ouarzazate,

Arrival at the airport, welcome by our on-site team then transfer to Ouarzazate, via the Tichka pass,

Transfer time: approx. 4h / approx. 200km, overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Ksar Nesrat - Bougayoir.

Departure for a road through beautiful desert landscapes to the beautiful and green Drâa valley and its numerous palm groves. After Zagora and Ksar Nesrat where our camel caravan awaits us, start of the camel trek towards the sands of Bougayoir. We taste for the first time the unique experience of a bivouac at the foot of the dunes.

Transportation time: approx. 3h:30, Overnight In bivouac

Day 3: Bougayoir Dunes - Zaouïa Sidi Salah - Tidri.

We take the dunes to the village of Zaouïa Sidi Saleh with its imposing architecture which appears out of nowhere in the middle of the Moroccan desert. Lunch in the shade of the palm trees at the exit of the village. Continuation of the hike towards the bed of Wadi Drâa to reach the dunes of Tidri, an ancient Jewish city.

Day 4: Tidri - Erg Essahel.

Heading further south, after visiting the rock engravings of Foum Rjam and its tumulus, and the ancient Jewish residence, an opportunity to admire the endless desert expanses from where our caravan sets off into the infinite Sahara between beautiful dunes and arid plateaus.

Day 5: Erg Essahel - Ras Rich.

Departure towards Ras Rich with its many fossils that we will love. A ridge attacked by dunes with a rocky plateau on one side and dunes as far as the eye can see on the other. We take advantage of a nearby well to wash.
Night in the Moroccan desert, under the Tamaris accompanied by a sublime sunset. overnight stay in bivouac,

Day 6: Ras Rich - Lahniti Dunes - Bounou.

Taking the North-West Cape, we leave Ras Rich towards the dunes of Lahniti with a thousand and one Tamarisk trees. We continue our hike around Lahniti to reach the village of Bounou.
Night in a camp in the heart of the palm grove.

Day 7: Bounou - Ouled Driss - Drâa Valley - Marrakech,

Last Saharan walk around the palm grove of Ouled Driss then road to the Drâa valley. Ouarzazate Lunch on the way, arrival in the evening and check-in at the hotel.
About 6 to 7 hours drive.

Day 8: Transfer to the airport depending on your flight time,
