C’est avec un immense plaisir que nous accueillons le chanteur et multi-instrumentiste de musique Gnawa, Aziz Sahmaoui, qui est également le parrain de notre cher Festival Taragalte.
Comme le groupe de musique touareg Tinariwen ou encore l’auteure-compositrice-interprète marocaine Oum, il a choisi le Bivouac Le Petit Prince pour la réalisation de son clip vidéo « Nouria » 🎶

Ready to leave for a dromedary tour to discover the beauty and mysteries of the endless Saharan desert? The caravan is an ideal way to explore the desert and the ancient nomadic lifestyle. During the caravan, we will travel through a plethora of habitats – desert, oasis, valley, dune meeting the people that have made them their home. On average we’ll cover between 10-15 km per day. We will spend the evening around the campfire where you can enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan dish, listen to local music and stories.

During 3 days we travel through the country and let us enchant by the contrasts of Morocco! Nights are spent in beautiful traditional riads and our bivouac in the dunes. The start is in Marrakech, we drive through the wild and rugged Atlas Mountains, visit the UNESCO protected Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and continue to the very South where the Sahara desert begins.

Experience the festival with all its activities! Stay in the dunes of the Sahara and sleep under nomadic tents at the festival site. Our artists mix with the crowd which gives the festival a unique atmosphere of sharing and connecting. While sleeping at the festival site, you will have access to jams, private concerts and different workshops in the artists residence.

The end of the year is a moment to look back and reflect. We are so thankful for all these intense moments we can share with friends and family. Often, people arrive here at the bivouac as strangers. But when they leave again, we are saying goodbye to friends. We are letting them go with a laughing and crying eye, keeping with us this warm feeling and all shared memories. Thank you 2016 for all this wonderful encounters at our Taragalte Festival, at our Yoga & Creative Writing Retreats, at our Group Excursions and all inspiring individual travellers who find their way through the desert to us! Thank you, dear friends and family for sharing so many beautiful moments with us!

Yoga & Creative Writing Week in Morocco! We still have some places free in the week from November 6-13. A week of inspiration, relaxation and creativity. We start our week in a beautiful authentic riad in the old medina in Marrakesh, travel through the famous Atlas Mountains and stay for 3 days in our eco-camp in the Sahara.
Next to the yoga & creative writing sessions in the mornings, we offer a diverse program in the afternoons: join a slow cooking workshop, a dromedary tour, or take part in one of the cultural excursions. And there is time for yourself: walking through the wide openness of the desert, spoil yourself with a massage, read a book or visit a local market…it is your choice!
