Lake Tislit is a lake located in Morocco's Haut Atlas Oriental National Park, in the administrative division of Imilchil. This is an "agdal" where the tribes of Ayt Ḥdiddu lead their flocks during the summer. The lake has been designated as a protected Ramsar site since 2005.

Marrakech to zagora
Zagora to Marrakech

8 days in 7 nights trek in the zagora desert.
Jbel bani / Oisis dyaby /
Oued lmahasirr / Erg chigaga.
Desert Mhamid. Oulad driss

Day 1: Elfaïja - Oisis Taska

Via a lacerated path, we will cross the fossilized primary-age Jbel bani pass, panoramic view of the Elfija plateau. descent into a ravine towards the oumsafi assif, followed by another rocky plateau with a few solitary acacia palm trees very frequented by nomads. Continue along the Assif to the Taska Oasis for lunch there.
In the afternoon, climb the cape. Dinner and overnight at the bivouac. The day stage 3h30 minutes of walking.

Day 02: Oasis Taska - Amda Nomassafy.

After sunrise and first breakfast in the desert our caravan resume a day's walk along the Assif Mhasser, lunar landscape, rudimentary vegetation around, limestone and iron ore, passage through the nomadic sheepfold of the desert, lunch in Amda n'Oumsafy. (small lake in the desert) lunch and evening cap on site.
Day stage 4 hours of walking.

continue towards the exit in a semi-acacia plateau.

Day 03: Amda Noumasafy - Erg Elmassafi

Continue walking in Ouad Lamhaser and the acacia plateau and other desert plants, rocky terrain, passing close to Nomad families, then descend to the first sand dune, Erg Lmassafy. Lunch and evening cap at the foot of the dune. 4 hours of walking

Day 4 Erg Lmassafy _ the great Erg Chigaga

After a beautiful sun lover on the dunes and a delicious breakfast we will start to cross small sand dunes along the wadi covered by the Calotropis plant (endemic) and the tamarisk tree We arrive at the foot of the dunes from chegaga, our team set up lunch and overnight on site. 3 hours of walking.

Day 5 Erg chigaga _ kharte lgarsime

DAY walk in the dunes of Chigaga we visit a small plateau of fossil stones in the middle of the dunes. Until the end of the dunes of Chigaga and the tamarisk of Kharte Lgarsime arrives for the lunch break and evening camp on site.

Day 06: Dune Kharte lgarsime - Dune de Bouguerne.

Leave the dunes of kharte Lgarsime, start walking in a plateau surmounted by a small hill, leave the continuity of the dunes on our right. We cross the Laatach wadi covered by large tamarisk trees. Then we will walk in a very large plateau (REG) towards the dunes of Bouguerne. Lunch and dinner and overnight at the foot of the big dune of bouguernes. 4 hours of walking.

Day 07: Bouguerne dune - Oued Naam.

We will cross a series of rocky plateau and small dunes to the beautiful dunes at Oued Naam covered by dunes. And big Tamaris trees lunch Dinner and overnight at the bivouac.
4h30 minutes walk.

Day 8 Oued Naame _ Oulad Driss.

After sunrise and breakfast the caravan continues its way to return to the old village of Oulad Driss we pass small dunes and dead rivers to the palm grove Oulad Driss lunch on site then transfer to return to Zagora for dinner and overnight at the hotel..
