Trip Itinerary :3 Days Desert Tour with Camel Trekking from Marrakech to Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert Morocco

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Rose – Dades Gorges.

Departure is guaranteed Everyday from Marrakech at 07h00≈15am,( Pickup at your Hotel or Airport in Marrakech ),to Dades Gorges we drive across the Atlas Mountains, from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will enjoy the scenic road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber along the way, Frist Big stop is free to visit “Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah” without GUIDE LOCAL classified since 1987 by UNESCO as a human international patrimony. Many big movies were turned there ( Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia, Kingdom of heaven…),and have Lunch , After Lunch you will continue to Ouarzazate, and you will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ouarzazate “Taourirt Kasbah” and we drive through the Roses Vally, and Skoura palm grove to Dades Vally, We arrive to Dades Gorges around sun-set, you spend the first night in Moroccan typical hotel with Dinner and overnight in Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Tououg – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi.

After a typical Moroccan Breakfast, departure from your Hotel in Dades Gorges at 08.00am, you will arrive at Todra Gorges, where you will have free time to go on trek along the canyons of about 300m high, a preferred place by mountain climbers. Afterwards you will leave to Erfoud, there we stop for Lunch, after Lunch we drive to merzouga, on you arrive to the Merzouga Dunes, before sunset, you ride Camels for more then one Hour in Dunes to get in the Camp, and you spend the night in the Bivouac at Merzouga Desert with shooting stars. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga sahara desert Camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Dunes – Tazarine – Agdaz – Marrakech.

We wake you half an hour before sunrise, Magical lights, return by trek camels, once back to the Hotel in Merzouga, we have a shower and breakfast, after breakfast, you meet the driver, and travel from Merzouga to Marrakech via Tazarine and the Draa valley, Agdaz and Ouarzazate, You will have free time for Lunch on the way before you will continue to Marrakech , We arrive back to Marrakech around 18:00pm.

3 day itinerary Tour to Sahara Desert in Morocco

Day 1: Fes – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga camel excursion – night in Desert

Fes Marrakech 3 Days Tour, Pick up at your accommodation in Fez and drive to Merzouga Desert pass through Ifrane, a winter ski station in general a Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930′s to resemble a Swiss village you will visit the cedars forest in Azrou where you will see the monkeys, drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent withing your way through the beautiful forests, springs, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then you will continue towards Merzouga in the road you will stop in a panoramic views to see the a huge oasis of palm trees, you will reach to Merzouga in the afternoon, you will have a rest and a mint tea , your camels will be waiting for you after rest ,and start a camel trekking across the sand dunes of the Erg-Chebbi. Camel trek across the desertic landscape, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camels, you will reach to the desert camp to spend night in a Berber tent, and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a camp fire and drums playing overnight at desert Camp.

Day 2: Camel ride back to Merzouga – Dades Gorge

In the morning you can get up early, take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from the top of a big dune, You will take your camel ride back to the hotel. After shower and breakfast you will take road towards Dades gorges. On our way we’ll visit Rissani and explore its biggest market in the area then continue to see an old system irrigation near Jorf village after that we’ll pass by several Berber villages such as Toroug, Tinjdad then Tinghir where we’ll have lunch . We’ll go visit Todra gorge where we’ll have a short walk through its beautiful high rocks, we’ll come back on the same way to Tinghir and continue our way to dades gorge . Overnight stay at hotel Riad at Dades Gorge.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast you will enjoy the beauty of the mountains , then you will stop to visit the town of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios, we’ll continue our road to visit Ait ben Haddou Kasbah the largest and most famous place of films in Morocco and have lunch at ben Haddou village then take the way through Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) making stops in order to take the pictures and enjoy super views of these beautiful mountains and berber villages . You will then reach Marrakech in the late afternoon and our tour ends.
