My beloved country now has a seat at the table. This Amazigh led team, made its way to the top, with technique, sweat and passion. Was this really a miracle? Maktub! The road was written for them to lead.
While by words some say defeat, yet at heart, a gain of great significance, representing the face of Africa and the Arab World. We have all witnessed talent, modesty and humanity. As the team bowed towards Allah in a show of grace, many tears were shed. Around the globe people have now seen the the heartbeat of Morocco!
On some level this will always be Morocco’s World Cup, the one that made it a trailblazer, a record breaker, a watermark that will not fade.
