Earthquake update - yes tents can still be seen in places across the Atlas Mountains but most have either moved into temporary housing closer to Marrakech or others have started to rebuild and repair their homes. The projection we are looking at is approximately 5 years to have everything up and running (and hopefully better than before). Despite government aid, help is still very much needed in areas of water, electricity, learn and school supplies.

September 8th - a date forever stamped on our hearts, a day that for many completely changed the course of our lives. When the earthquake struck, we had no contact with the outside world to even understand the magnitude of damage that was done. Now, 3 months on, we look back at the sheer resilience of the Berber people, how everyone came together to help as much as possible and united together as a community.

We thank all of those who have come out to help and donated!

The recent earthquake in the Al Haouz Province of Morocco has left numerous communities in dire need of assistance. Homes have been destroyed, families displaced, and basic necessities are scarce. The roads to most towns in the mountains are currently blocked by boulders and rocks fallen from the event.

Every Contribution Counts, even just your support, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in the lives of those struggling in the aftermath of this traumatic earthquake. Together, we can help these resilient communities get back on their feet.
