Full day tour of Ourika Valley 🏞

We have departures from marrekech to ourika valley everyday!

Mixed group departures with people from all around the world. Departures start at 9am and drop of back to marrekech at 5:30pm, we will pick you up and return you to your hotel.

Price for this trip is 250dh per person. Prices included breakfast and a tour guide to guide you though the valley.

If you would like to have a private trip we can also accommodate that with a 4x4 or small minibus. Prices for this may vary.

The Ourika Valley is one of the popular day trips you can take from Marrekech. It is only an hours drive from the city. You’ll get plenty of time to experience and admire the gorgeous mountain scenery, the outdoor activities and also visit the Berber villages. The families in the Berber villages have worked the land for centuries and live in simple homes made out of clay, which on the day you will get a tour of. Also, you will get to stop to see the Red Stone Mosque in Ourika Valleys largest village, Aghbalou.

The ourika river flows through the foothills of the Atlas mountains. Along the river there are many restaurants you can stop at to take a rest and admire the pristine waterfalls and beautiful views.

Setti Fatma at the end of the paved road from Marrekech is the growing village where many of the locals have taken to the guide business. You’ll meet plenty of them, offering to take you up to the waterfalls, however you can follow through the rough tracks on your own, just make sure you wear suitable footwear. Also if you’re in the village during late august make sure to catch the mousse-a lively festival of music, dance and culture that lasts for three days.
