A brief but historic event yesterday.
48 years after the sisters Sultana and Monara were separated after their launch in 1969 and went their own ways….they were together again !!
I wasn’t there….but seeing them together side by side anchored on one image did trigger some beautiful emotions.

Sultana has been waken up from her winter nap.
She has been taken care of by her crew and she looks like new...(never been different tough )
This week she spend in Cannes at the MIPIM property trade show to host the guests and clients for a since many years loyal client.
Parties, food and drinks, just a little rest from the show, or business meetings.
All held or done aboard Sultana.

Hi all....My sister is in the need for a tender and loving crew. Feadship Monara (former Feadship Olympia) is looking for a fine Captain and chef/stewardess...maybe a couple.
Charter and private cruising, very kind and easy going owners.
Monara needs a Captain that will also look after her lovely Gardner engines. Any engineer will love her engine room (like mine)..

And here, when she did her first cruise after the rebuild, a very romantic cruise through the old river " Vecht ". The river where all the wealthy people from Amsterdam in the 17th century had their second homes. Even the Emperor of Russia cruised here to discuss business in those days.

Just for the fun...sweet memories when Sultana made it all the way from France to Holland on her own keel and engines. A 2400 mile trip..no hickups, apart from dirty fuel loaded in Spain.

VIP guests came on board just to check out why Chef Simon became second in the competition.. If there had been also a hospitality and service competition..Zadel, Sultana's stewardess, would have won the price too !! Perfect !!
