This story is the wildest real story of Mipi Village. Are you ready to listen?
One Hunter once Found His hard grown Corn fields emptied by Group of Bears. Then out of Anger he went with his Gun in the corn field and started firing and shot down four Bears. Then he Left as he got tired and was on his way back home. But little did he knew there was one Bear in blood waiting for revenge in the Village. When the man was about to enter his house he was attacked by the bear. And He fought hard with his Machete with the bear. But bear are more Stronger and was filled with vengeance. The bear tore his face and body then ran away. The Villagers though he died. But found him breathing and heart pumping. The villager carried the man in Bamboos Basket to the hospital. He was all covered in blood. Women’s were crying as they could see his body all torn apart but he survived. He is still alive till date with scars. I don’t want to reveal his name because of privacy.
Let me a tell you a Story- Believe it or not is up to you
It was May of 2021- We were building Chebrandi Camp -2. Then one Night I was sitting along with my team mates then suddenly I started hearing the sound of Females of all ages shouting children, old women, young women. The voice seemed as if they are in a big hall and shouting. I tried listening but couldn’t understand the MM. Then I asked sajan and all if they could hear the same but it was only me. I got goosebumps all over. Then after two days got sick which is impossible as he was the most deadliest hunter in the past. So he left for home. Then again after two days .miri got Sick. Which is also not possible because he is very very strong and egoistic to agree on the fact that he is sick. He also left. Then again after two days a boy was using Chainsaw and got his finger on chain saw and was bloody as hell. So he also left with one more guy to assist him. Then at night. We all realised that this is the month when all the wild Mishmi Takin goes to the mountains as snow starts melting. In our belief it is believed that Every Mishmi Takin Heard is Guided by A Human Spirit. That is the reason hunters always leave food for the spirit. And we were there for already 45 days and we had may be angered the spirit. So next day we all packed our bags and left being afraid.
Now it is up to you to believe it or not. We believe in the spirits of mountains ⛰️.

- The Man behind Expert carpentry at High altitude with 50% less oxygen at 14000ft. He has the heart of a Brother. The most Caring/family guy in our team. He looks after many family members education and stay from his village.
His Work ethics are beyond words. Wake up, start washing utensils at minus degree water,cook for team, take out his carpentry instrument and start the work. But never stop in between the work. And yes beautiful Finishing is his priority .
We now have two toilets at first camp.
The lesson we all take from him is “life can be hard but never stop smiling and taking care of others”.

When will people overcome greed and stop selling tribal lands to the corporates. The MoUs are signed without the prior permission of the local tribal population. Government is already drowning Dibang valley by building NHPC 2880 MW dam. And now they plan to drown whatever is remaining.
This is what happens when Democracy is bought during elections….. shameless government!!! sitting in one corner of 5 star hotel and deciding the faith of whole tribals.
Life - I lost my Dad in August 4 and August 6 today 2023 My fathers final burial ceremony was at 1:30pm and My first Baby Girl at 6pm at the same day. I’m with tears with emotion so mixed I can’t define. I look at both pictures and I m full of tears. Thank you Sushma Linggi my Life partner. It is a new beginning with so much of responsibility.
I want just want to be like my Dad 👨.

The motto of Kansas, "Ad Astra per Aspera" is Latin for "to the stars through difficulties.
Many might not know but we have had so much difficulty since day-1 of organising this trek. Government funding was misused by local Leaders.
So we have a saying in our team “funding can here and there but not the team Emudu trekkers “.

New Trekking group, homestays are opening. Dibang Valley is like Pandora's box opening one by one.
Note :- This all trails are for Fit Trekkers who actually love nature. And absolutely not for Selfie tourist who disrespect nature as well as Porters. These trails are very raw and unlike other trails with momo and chai stop.
