Salary Bay is another little corner of paradise in southern Madagascar. This famous tourist site lies around 108 km north of the town of Toliara.
The scenery is extraordinary, with a fine sandy beach and emerald sea on one side, and a vast area of dry forest on the other. This is an ideal place to learn to scuba dive. In addition to water sports, quad biking is one of Salary Bay's main tourist attractions.
The road is only accessible by off-road vehicle and also has a landing field for those who can afford to hire a small private plane to get there.
