🥬 Sarmale 🇷🇴
A dish with Ottoman influences, Sarmale has been a staple in Romanian cuisine and beyond for centuries. These slow-cooked cabbage rolls, filled with minced meat and rice, are traditionally served during Christmas and weddings, symbolising warmth and togetherness❤️

🥩 Ćevapi 🇧🇦🇷🇸🇲🇪
This iconic grilled minced meat dish traces its roots back to the Ottoman Empire, which introduced kebabs to the Balkans. Over time, locals perfected their own version, now a street food must-try in Sarajevo, Belgrade, and beyond! It’s best enjoyed with flatbread, raw onions, and ajvar - pepper-based condiment🧂
