We are Katerina and Jasminka. We love beauty and simplicity. We created genuine experiences so our local people can have a chance to show their skills, traditions, crafts, food, rare natural and cultural heritage to travelers from all over this world!
Jasminka - Lives and works in Struga. For almost 20 years, she has been actively engaging in projects aiming to improve the well-being of the people from the Southwestern region of Macedonia. „Promoting the principles of sustainability in the tourism sphere and contributing to the creation of smart and tourism based on community engagement” is her vision.
Katerina - She lives in Ohrid and is in love with her birthplace. She is a co-initiator of local social movements in the Ohrid Lake region for environment, culture, music, theater. „Loving the Ohrid lake, gardening, and authenticity“ is her driving power.
We have 35+ combined years of experience in tourism in our region (cross border area Macedonia-Albania). We are committed to tourism as a transformative tool to support communities, families, and people. We promote tourism as a blend of human stories and exceptional destinations while taking care of nature, culture, and people.
There are thirty local artisans, artists, housewives, seniors, athletes, adventurers, and professionals from different fields – living in Ohrid, Struga, Bitola, Demir Hisar, Debar, Resen, Skopje, Peshkopi, Mat, Bulqize and Dibra. They have entrusted us with their enthusiasm and allowed us to transform their skills and knowledge into genuine experiences targeting travelers.

We organize authentic experiences in Macedonia and Albania cross-border region including Ohrid, Struga, Bitola, Debar, Peshkopi, Bulqize. Our experiences are perfect choice forresponsible travelers who want to discover hidden parts of our region which is not included in the standard tourist offer. Our guests respect our traditions, cultural differences and are willing to indulge into local life.

Here one can enjoy the sunrise in a coastal village while drinking freshly collected mountain tea. The warmth of freshly baked bread in small village bakeries. The taste of freshly picked tomatoes and peppers directly from the local gardens, cherries, and peaches straight from the trees. The innocent whiteness of home-made cheese as you watch. The sweetness of honey eaten in the flower gardens where the bees have produced it.
The blue color of the clear rivers. The scent of mountain flowers in spring. Sunset at a fishermen's settlement, when shades of the lake vary from light blue to purple and orange.
View of stars above the mountains, where you might even discover a new constellation. And all that in a radius of less than 50km!
WE CARE
We believe that there are many small things that we can do to help the communities in the places where we make our experiences. We talk to the local people to find out their needs, and our team tries to help in any way we can. We know what we do, as we are doing it since 2004. All the profits from our small business - go to our grassroots organization - Local Development Agency Struga -that supports vulnerable groups and promotes local, sustainable development in Ohrid Lake UNESCO Region. As the business grows, we will also be able to help other critical local initiatives related to our vision: conservation of natural and cultural heritage and protection of the Ohrid Lake's waters and forests.
