Years of isolation have preserved a veritably untouched culture in this devoutly Buddhist country. Wondrous pagodas, gilded Buddhas and saffron-robed monks are everywhere. And the sweet, gentle people, to whom foreigners are still a novelty are warm and welcoming.

Yet another exciting news!

"The Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) has given the green-light to a joint-venture called Sky Asia Co Ltd to build a cable car system that links Yathaedaung Camp to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, the MIC announced on 26 December."

How soon can this project be implemented?? :)

Hello rail buffs!

Great news for all the train enthusiast!

In this coming December 16th, every Tuesday, there's going to be a vintage steam train running from Bagan to Kyaukpadaung in Mandalay Division! The ticket is bit pricey but we suggest you explore this rare chance!

The dress is the combination of different ethnic groups of Myanmar.
The Padaung neck accessories, modified upper front accessories from Chin costumes and the skirt is from Li Suu. Unfortunately the dress was not able to get a good use of all national ethnic accessories. All in all, we give this dress 10 out of 10! :)

Oh the evening of 14th November, President of the United States of America hold a town-hall event with Myanmar young and brightest students, civic engagement leaders and Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative members... Oh this day, he hold an q and a session with young people and his engagement has definitely made young people in Myanmar hopeful about the future of this country... Whatever the result of the 2015 reform, we hope that US would show us some leniency in sanctioning Myanmar and continue help in each and every sectors...
