Pun Hlaing Golf Club encompasses 18 holes championship golf course expertly designed by the renowned Gary Player, one of the world's legendary golf players. The golf course is unique and artistically tucked away in a cozy bay, overlooking the magnificent and spectacular view of Hlaing River and Pun Hlaing River. Pun Hlaing Golf Club was selected as the country's host venue for the ASEAN Foreign Minister' Retreat in 2001, Putra Club 2005 and many other diplomatic missions and tournaments. On November 2,2002, PHGE was graced by its original designer, none other than Gary Player, and on his return from Myanmar, Mr. Player commented on his website that "Of the many golf courses I have seen in the world, Pun Hlaing has to be in the top five. It reminds me of Augusta, Georgia".
