This year in May , 2024, we were participating in the ASTA Travel Advisor Conference at Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, USA. The conference was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with travel industry experts, learn about latest trends in travel industry, and showcase the unique culture of our country to the World.

Under the pavilion of the Union of Myanmar Travel Association, (UMTA), the two association members companies, Global Asia Myanmar Travel & Tours DMC and Columbus Travel, were also taking part in the trade show by sharing insights, and exploring new possibilities for promoting Myanmar as a must-visit destination in the near future.

Our special thanks go to the lovely siblings of Ms Jason Marip and her brother for their voluntarily contributions to make the Myanmar pavilion more attractive by wearing their traditional Kachin dresses, who are currently studying one of the College in Dallas, Texas, USA.

TUI has announced its ‘Green & Fair’ label, which will highlight hotels that have been certified as sustainable. This means the hotel meets a strict standard of sustainability of the GSTC Criteria or an equivalent standard. Not only will this make it easier for customers to identify hotels with more planet-friendly practices, but when a customer books a Green & Fair hotel, TUI will donate £1 per adult and £0.50p per child to the TUI Care Foundation, generating valuable additional funds for the foundation.
