One of the best and well organized Community Based Tourism Villages in Myanmar is based in Dawei region. We are really glad for the invitation from ICT and are proud to share wonderful photos from Dawei CBT Villages.

Tizit Village

Located an hour drive from Dawei town and villagers there will proudly welcome you at their welcoming hall and will explain the purpose of their CBT. Then one can also observe their century old Dawei traditional house, their ways of living and fishing methods of their region. Then the tour guide will lead you to an interesting walk to Tizit beach by passing through mangroves forest. Tizit beach is just wonderful with nice white sand beach and several hundreds of fishing boats. Just an amazing place. Don’t forget to try their Beach dinner which is just awesome. Kalonethar Village CBT

This is another different awesome CBT from Dawei region. One need to drive around hour and a half to get to Kalonethar Village. There are lots of beautiful scenery along the way to Dawei and we are really sure that Kalonethar is just another photo paradise for photographers.
Tour guides from these region is just so expert in nature and they will proudly explain medicinal value of plants around their village. Trekking along their village is just another wonderful part with the combination of trails along serene creek, crystal clear water, birds chirping and beautiful scenery. Lunch is one of the best that we tried and served with freshly cooked foods available from their region. Don’t forget to bring your refillable water bottles since the villagers there take really good care of their region by providing you with refill water station, biodegradable cups and plates etc for the luncheons.

Today,19 July , is Martyrs' Day in Myanmar to commenmorate General Aung San and seven other members of the Pre-independence Interim Government, and a bodyguard whom were assinated on today in 1947... the family members of the Martyrs and the important government officials are to visit Martyrs' Mausoleum in Yangon ... it has been 71 years already today...OUR TRIBUTE TO THE MARTYRS ON 71st MARTYRS' DAY🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
