Swales vs Soil Erosion.
3 months ago, we introduced 400 meters of Swales in the experimental Permaculture Food Forage Forest. Home to a variety of edible and medicinal local trees, shrubs and plants.
Swales help with water harvesting, soil preservation and more.
They need little maintenance and help boost yields.
In a few moons, the soil here will be one full of nutrients and all sorts of opportunities for growth. The trees are also very happy during this time. As we keep on planting, we look forward to update you with all the latest updates on the this area.

🌧️ Rainy Day Power Shot: Immune Boost in a Sip 🍋🍊✨

When the rain hits, don’t just cozy up—power up! This zingy, immune-boosting shot will keep you feeling bright even on the gloomiest Maltese day. 🌦️

The Recipe (Makes 4 Shots):
1 organic orange, juiced 🍊
1 organic lemon, juiced 🍋
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
1 small piece of fresh turmeric, grated (we’ve got you covered!) ✨
A pinch of black pepper (activates turmeric magic!)
Optional: A drizzle of honey for sweetness 🍯

How To:
1️⃣ Mix all ingredients in a small jar or shaker.
2️⃣ Strain if you like it smooth (but we love the zingy bits!).
3️⃣ Pour into shot glasses and cheers to health! 🥂
