The farm is currently run by Mattia who have a beautiful room with sea view to rent to guests. It has a private bathroom with a shower, a wardrobe, coffee table, air conditioning and an armchair. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs from where you have a breathtaking view of the sea on both sides of the Maltese coast from East to West. The farm consists of the house and a garden with deckchairs, tables, fruit trees and barbecue. A private parking space is located thirty meters away from the farmhouse. The common area is located on the ground floor with armchairs, a wine and a breakfast area equipped with a fridge at your disposal, a toaster, juicer, coffee maker, blender, kettle and a table with six chairs. You will also find information about all the facilities and attractions available in the area, such as bars, restaurants, horseback riding, hiking, diving, renting a scooter or a mountain bike and bus schedules, phone numbers, etc. There is also a small reading area with a library, some games and a small guest bathroom. Breakfast is included: a selection of breakfast items can be found in the fridge and the breakfast area, where guests can prepare their breakfast at any time. It is recommended to rent a car, but the bus stop is 10 minutes by foot from the farm. For those who don't want to rent a car, you should know that close to the farm there are no services .. Supermarkets, restaurants, etc. are located in Mgarr. This requires only a little more organization. There are two bus stops 10 min away from the farm. From these two bus stops you can reach practically the whole island (beaches, Valletta, Airport, Mgarr, Saint Paul's Bay, Mellieha, Gozo, etc.).The buses have a good frequency (a bus every hour or half an hour depending on the destination you want to reach). On the ground floor of the Farm there is the living area with a lounge with sofas, wine area and TV.
You will also find an internal kitchen and a breakfast area equipped with a fridge at your disposal, toaster, juicer, coffee machine, blender, kettle, table with six chairs, information area for all the activities in the area, bars, restaurants, horse riding, trekking, diving center, possibility to rent mopeds, mountain bikes, quads, bus times, useful numbers, etc. etc.
You will find a small reading area with library, board games, children's games and sofa as well as a small bathroom with sink and toilet.
The first floor consists of three bedrooms: one with a private bathroom and a balcony and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All rooms have a key, air-condition and sea view, and you will be provided with towels and basic necessities.
Location
The Farm is located in the green heart of Malta. In Mgarr most of the fruit and vegetable in Malta is produced. The valley overlooked by the Villa is one of the most picturesque valleys of the island. You are about 3 km from Golden Bay, Gnejna Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha, the three most important beaches of Malta.
All of them are connected by beautiful walks in a natural reserve and you can decide if you leave the house on foot, car or by bus!!
The two closest towns to the Farm are Mgarr and Saint Paul's Bay, both about 2 km away from the Farm. It is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy a good time outdoors, away from the street and a few steps from the sea. It is also a perfect starting point for trekking, mountain biking, climbing and diving.
How to get there
It is quite easy to reach the farm by car; the rent of a car is recommended, however. Those who do not want to rent a car should know that close to the Farm there are no services. House Rules
In the property there is a dog, Franky boy, who is part of the family, but does not have access to the rooms. He is very playful and friendly with everyone. There are no particular rules to follow other than the basic rules of life :)
