Have you ever been in Fort Manoel in Manoel Island,Gzira ?
Fort is open for free to the public only few times in a year
Built in the early years of 1700’s by the Knights of St. John and restored to its former glory in early years of 2000, Fort Manoel has a beautiful view overlooking Marsamxett Harbour ,over Valletta and sorroundings as fine example to Malta’s baroque military architecture. To visit well the fort, is needed around half day or at least few hoursi would say ,because the site is pretty big and interesting 🙂

One of the most beautiful walk trail in Malta is definitely the one along the promemade from Bugibba to Saint Paul’s bay (few km long). Less touristic than the one from Sliema to St. Julian’s , more relaxing , less people and nicer landscape also because a bit less concrete you may find in this area 🙂 Water as always so clean in this place .
