It is located on the outskirts of Xaghra, a busy town with many shops and restaurants and a bank. A short drive away is Ramla beach. This is Gozo’s, and arguably Malta’s, best beach. A wide stretch of red sand, it is often referred to locally as “Ramla il-Ħamra” – the Red Sandy Beach! It is a fabulous place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. The area around the beach is wonderfully undeveloped, although there are a couple of cafes and a stall set back from the beach.

A long sunlit corridor leads into the house, with doors out the pool and garden to the left and into the main living area, to the right.

The pool area is a calm and tranquil walled space for sunbathing and al fresco meals. Original floor tiles throughout give this house a wonderful glimpse into its past.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are one large space, perfect for socializing, for families and couples alike. A wood- burning stove gives an extra cosy feel on those cooler winter evening.

A stunning stone spiral staircase leads to the upper level. There is also an outside stone staircase, a feature of many of Gozo’s old farmhouses. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, both with en suites and lovely original features. There is room for a foldaway bed and/or a cot, if required.

The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using one and two euro coins.

On arriving to the house one finds a small quaint front courtyard and the main door to the house.

On entering the house, on the ground floor, you are met by a very large open plan living / dining / kitchen and a small shower room.

Two large patio doors lead onto the pool area, this is small but quaint, and also the patio doors give a lot of natural light to this area. On the first floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Through the main bedroom one finds a staircase up to the roof terrace where here one captures some beautiful views of the village and also the outskirts of the village with distant country views. This sun terrace is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing over a cool drink.

From the front, double doors open onto an arched hallway that leads into a large open plan living room with wood burning stove, dining area and kitchen.

There is a double room and a twin room with en suite on this floor which both have lovely outside terraces with views over the fields to the sea. There is also a large shower room.

A lovely curved stone staircase with ornate railings leads to the first floor, which has a fabulous open landing, leading onto a roof terrace with loungers and table and chairs. There is a twin room with en suite and a Juliet balcony, a double room and a large shower room.

The bedrooms could easily accommodate a foldaway bed and/or a cot, if required. It is accessed via steps up from the road into a secluded complex of just four properties, which can all be booked together for a large wedding or event.
To the rear is the lovely pool with loungers, a built in stone bbq with preparation area and table and chairs seating 8.

The house has fans plus air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using one and two euro coins.

Steps lead up to the attractive pool and terrace area with distant views out to the sea. The front door opens into a large hallway and continues into the huge open plan comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen and diner with a large table seating up to 12. On the ground floor there is also a shower room.

Fabulous marble stairs lead up to the first floor and four bedrooms comprising three twins and a double with en suite bathroom and a shower room. A foldaway bed and/or cot could easily be accommodated.

There is also a front terrace with lovely views over the fields and out to sea. Another staircase leads up to the second floor and a door gives access to the roof.

The apartment is located within a very quiet area, yet 5-7 minute walk away to the sea, restaurants, bars and all amenities.

The bus stop is a few meters away from the apartment with frequent buses to Victoria from where you can get a connected bus to everywhere on the island. For those who prefer to rent a car, there is ample free parking just outside the block.

The first bedroom has two single beds, whilst the second bedroom has a double bed.

It has a spacious open plan living and dining area with cable tv and free wifi. It also has a large sofa that opens up into a double bed.
