NOEL GALLO - Organ Building Noel Gallo is a Maltese organ builder that offers distinctive quality organ works from restorations

In 2008 Noel established the first organ building and design studio in Malta under the trade name ‘NG Pipe Organ Design’ (www.ngpipeorgandesign.com) specialising solely in the traditional pipe organ. He has been in increasing demand working on design with many leading organ builders worldwide including - Nicholson & Co. Ltd, Rudolf Von Beckerath Orgelbau GmbH, Metzler Orgelbau AG. and others, whi

ch broad him to be entrusted to work on various projects of significant importance. Examples can be found in Germany, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia,
China and Malta. Noel is a member of The International Society of Organ builders (ISO) and has contributed articles for publication and addressed various organizations and conferences including The Institute of British Organ building (IBO) and the
St Alban's International Organ Festival as well as giving more informal lectures and demonstrations. On the practical side, Noel has hands on involvement with construction, restoration
and maintenance of pipe organs sometimes in conjunction with other firms on instruments in the Maltese Archipelago and beyond. With his wide connections with the worldwide organ building fraternity, Noel draws on the experience of experts from many fields to give a truly professional and comprehensive service

Dear friends, we are delighted to announce that the organ project at the Church of St Francis in Victoria, Gozo is now concluded. Details about the organ can be found hereunder:

• Keyboard of 58 notes, diatonic notes covered in bone with rosewood fronts, and sharp notes in Ebony
• Pedalboard of 30 notes in Oak diatonics and Ebony sharps
• Casework in Walnut
• Display pipes in 85% Tin formed from the Principale 8'.
• Wind pressure: 78mm
• Tuned in Equal temperament at 440Hz - 18 ℃
• Mechanical action throughout
• Contains 702 pipes (54 wooden pipes - 648 metal pipes)
