MANJAL - a celebration of Maa Madurai !

Rich in yellow shades, this golden display decked with turmeric flowers was an ode to this sacred and important colour to the sovereign of Madurai.

Long story short, this thiruvasi emanates from a dravidian custom ornated with a newly unlocked way of presenting floral arangement, which is gradient work. Notice how the entire piece reflects the shades you would obtain from a golden or brass thiruvasy and carved peedam.

Why going with a singular regular form? The concept was to again honour only one important aspect or belonging of the court of the deity which is MANJAL.

And then we have our Lady of grace ! Mother of all, which couldn't go unnoticed..all decked to embrace this emblematic look !
