Reef Conservation is hiring an outgoing individual in the field of sociology / social psychology or related field, who has attained at least a master's degree to form part of our multi-disciplinary team. The position will require the individual to work on multiple projects where education, community perception and integration are critical to the sustainable use, conservation, and restoration of coastal and marine ecosystems and associated biodiversity.

The individual will be expected to:
• Design strategies for engaging with and collecting data from different stakeholder groups
• Conduct survey research, both quantitative and qualitative
• Compile and analyse data in relation to project objectives
• The candidate must have experience with spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Prepare reports to inform the project and make recommendations for future projects.
• Support the development of new projects in line with the organisation’s objectives

Other Skills required
• Excellent oral communication in English, French and Creole
• Excellent reporting and writing skills English and French
• Inductive and deductive reasoning and analytical thinking
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Independent but also able to work in a team
• Driving licence
