Mr. Hassan Haleem is a proud Maldivian national with a well admired track record of business innovation and entrepreneurship in the Maldives.
Born in 1973 to a family of business background and raised in Male’, the capital city, Hassan was introduced to business practices from a very young age. At his age of 21, Hassan entered into his first business venture and opened a vehicle spare parts shop in Male’.
Within a short period of time, Hassan’s strategic thinking and dedication helped him grow his business at a very fast pace. More businesses were introduced including two new vehicle service centers, household and utility products shop, baby and kid’s products shop, a toys shop, electronics retail shop, sanitary ware shop, furniture shop and a lights shop.

Handy Travels focused on providing travel solutions. Handy Trading was established to market and distribute building and construction materials.
One of the many bold strategic decisions Hassan took was to form “Handy Bricks”, setting up a factory to produce and supply cement bricks to the construction market in the Maldives.
