Guesthouses Maldives will showcase today its first International Travel Fair for 2016 at the OTM Mumbai, India's biggest travel and trade show.

With over 2,500 participants from 70 counties, the exhibition targets one of the fastest growing outbound tourist markets in the world.

The forecasts indicated that, over 15 million Indians travelled in 2012 with a tourism expenditure of $10.3 billion. This figure is likely to reach 50 million tourists in 2020 with $28 billion.
