Two of our guests enjoying kayak hire from Monkey Buisness, a Malawian owned buisness venture based here at Butterfly Space. The reason we don't provide free use of kayaks in our lodge is to support our local Malawian businesses, and keep our accommodation costs lower!
Monkey Buisness provide amazing canoe and kayak tours around the coast including overnight adventures, and also offer bicycle hire, snorkling, tours and much more! Come support them, and have the adventure of a lifetime!!

We are a local business that provides adventures on the amazing Lake of Stars in Nkhata Bay, Malawi. We've got a range of fun activities on offer...you could rent a kayak to explore the bay, or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous you could go on a 2 day guided kayak trip along the coast, camping in local villages and feeding a few eagles along the way....a truly unforgettable experience! We also offer day trips on motorboats to go cliff jumping, snorkeling and to discover hidden beaches for volleyball and BBQ at sunset.
