Let’s go exploring!
Isla de Mezcala…just a short ride east of Chapala, Isla de Mezcala was a prison island. Featured on several international TV shows about prisons, it’s very unique. Your personal, fully bilingual guid and boat captain will tell you all about the history of this unique place.

Transportation from Ajijic and Chapala will arrive in Mezcala at 11:00am. A quick trip by boat will take you to the island for a 2 hour tour (approximately) with the history of the island and the town of Mezcala, plenty of opportunities to take photos, and great views!

This will be a 4-5 hour day, from pick up to drop off, depending on where you are.

Comfortable shoes & water are suggested.

This is a LIMITED trip. We can only take two boats out. Please, message for more information.
