Our History

Mahahual Ecotours's owner Victor Rosales started working in tourism in 2006 as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, worked for 7 years in contact with tourist in the Scuba Diving world, not only in México but also worked in a few countries around the world. After traveling and working abroad I realized how amazing the Yucatán peninsula is, and no one was offering activities related to nature friends and family said that I should open a business using my local knowledge and expertise in the area. So in November 2013 we took the first official bookings. Since the beginning I had very clear what kind of business I wanted a business that was not only focused in the amazing nature, history, culture, tradition that we have but also a business that cares about customers service, professionalism, good values and treat our customers as humans beings not as a numbers. We focus in private tours and tailor made experiences focused in the interest of our clients.
