Fresh air, natural inspiration and social distancing at the Vallarta Botanical Garden

The VBG has plenty of space in which you can avoid crowds and stay away from others - a new social norm during this time of pandemic. If you choose to eat with us at the Hacienda de Oro restaurant, we are omitting a table between the seats to maintain an average distance of 1.5 meters from one to another. You can also enjoy feeding the hummingbirds in the around, see local birds, walk in our hiking trails and swim in the river.

- Enjoy nature and let the inspiration flow
- Breathe in the good, breathe out the bad
- Be cool, but from a safe distance

We had the visit of our friends from Nerding for Nature/The Last Grownup in the Woods at the famous Vallarta Botanical Garden, they had the best experience in Puerto Vallarta "BOTANICAL DELIGHTS Tour & Culinary Adventure". They learned about the huge diversity of plants from Mexico, including organic vanilla plantation, coffee trees, cacao, cinnamon, chewing gum trees, and 147 species of orchid. Their guide Rubi had a plethora of information on the biology and history of many of the plants. They got samples of many edible plants and they learned how they altered the course of history in Mexico and the world. Do not miss this great tour next time you visit Puerto Vallarta.
