La magia de la Bahia de la Navidad, se debe a los pueblos pesqueros de Melaque y Barra de Navidad. A la mitad de la bahía esta la Laguna de Tule de agua dulce donde puedes observar la fauna que la habita, entre los que destacan mapaches, aves, tortugas, venados, cocodrilos y una gran variedad de reptiles.

Barra de Navidad cuenta con playas casi vírgenes y tienes la oportunidad de pescar, bucear, practicar surf y esnórquel.

Puedes recorrer la bahía desde Melaque, te llevarás una grata experiencia si prefieres caminar o a bordo de una tabla (paddle board) desde Barra de Navidad.

Otra de las actividades principales de Melaque es el skimboard el cual es muy parecido al skate, cambiando las banquetas y las rampas por olas de distinta intensidad y tamaño.
