Anyone that has taken my tour may remember me.pointing out the ahuehuete tree, and then me mentioning that in Oaxaca there is one that has the largest diameter of any tree in the world. Here it is, the Árbol de Tule, estimated to be around 2,000 years old.

River pelicans zooming around.

River pelicans have come to visit the canals for a few months. The video is a bit far away because they spook easily. They are as big as their ocean cousins but dress a little more fancy- all white with a black stripe on their wings. Estes pelícanos del río vienen por unos meses cada año. Son gigantes tímidos, por eso el video es de lejos. Son del mismo tamaño de los del mar pero con un poco más de bling bling-blanco con un rayo negro en la ala.
