Teotitlan del Valle, a town located 31km from Oaxaca City, is famous for its sheep wool textiles. It is one of the must-see sites if you plan to visit Oaxaca. In this same community you will find the restaurant Tlalmanali, owned by the traditional cook Abigail Mendoza, where you can taste delicious Oaxacan dishes.
We also recommend you to visit its community cultural center, where you can find the history of its textiles and some archaeological pieces. We are sure that this visit will leave a mark in your heart, that's Oaxaca in your life!

Teotitlan del Valle, una población que se encuentra a 31km de la ciudad de Oaxaca, muy famosa por sus textiles de lana de borrego. Es uno de los sitios imperdibles si piensas visitar Oaxaca. STAMP MUSEUM.

The Philatelic Museum of Oaxaca, built with the firm idea of respect for the existing, and incorporation of contemporary language, shelters in its walls endowed with a singular architectural beauty, thousands of pieces, philatelic documents and postcards that are exhibited temporarily and permanently to the public, in search of a unique experience in Mexico and Latin America.

It was born being unique in its kind, so that we lacked specific technical references of registration, classification, conservation and exhibition for the assembly of philatelic exhibitions, that with the march, the effort of the staff and professionals, we have managed to give life to the 'House of the postage stamp in Mexico', a meeting place, recreation, research but above all a space for everyone.
