Something needs to be very clear about traveling to Mexico...

THERE IS NO SMOKING ANYWHERE.

The enforcement of Mexico's 2021 anti-smoking law started just over a year ago. It is one of the strictest in the world and it applies almost EVERYWHERE including BEACHES, PARKS, HOTELS and virtually every public space. Yes, it's true.

Tourists do NOT have the right to smoke anywhere they want. It is not just RUDE, it's also ILLEGAL.

I am getting really tired of the few arrogant people who think laws do not apply to them. Not just the laws, but how about common courtesy to not smoke in peoples' faces? If you are one of them, just go home, you are no longer welcome here.

With more and more scammers out there, especially on Facebook and Airbnb, go with a host you can trust. To earn a rating...
