LOLA 🐾🐶 is up for adoption from the Huellitas de Acero A.C. Puerto Escondido shelter. She's a gorgeous girl, 16 months old, leash trained, and very responsive to other training. She's been on several outings (including overnights😴) and she did beautifully!

Lovely Lola is so ready to find her forever family, and it's sad to see this pup with so much potential stuck at the shelter. She's super sweet and loving and will make a perfect family dog. Friends, I'm in need of some help and ideas and brainstorming. 🙏🙏🙏 As some of you know, the dog shelter I volunteer for, Huellitas de Acero A.C. Puerto Escondido, is always seeking flight angels to es**rt our adopted dogs back to their forever homes in Canada -- mostly to Vancouver. But lately we've come up against a brick wall -- it's low season and no one is coming forward to be a flight angel. Meanwhile our shelter gets fuller, and our pups' forever parents become impatient and/or lose hope.

Can anyone think of creative ways to reach those folks who are flying from either Puerto Escondido or Huatulco to Vancouver? I and other volunteers post in every FB group we know along the Oaxacan coast, but that's not achieving the results we need. Currently we have five pups all waiting for a flight es**rt to Vancouver. Finally the timing was right to get a new photo of the palapa bedroom at Casa Arlena. The floors have been painted, a new desk added, and of course there are walls and windows now. Originally, the palapa was entirely open air with half-walls, but we wanted something a little more secure and bug-free for our guests. Still looking for a renter (a single or a couple) for the summer of 2022. Cats welcome!

Our suite is currently available from August 1 to Sept. 15, 2022. The privacy in our backyard is second to none! Enjoy being naked all you like in this glorious setting. Cat-friendly home (we love small, older, quiet dogs too). Preference will be given to renters who wish to book for the full period from May 20 to September 30, 2022. Potential renters should be responsible and quiet. MXN $18000 per month.
